Meet Jason &
Misty
Dear
Birthmother,
Thank you
for reading our letter and considering an adoption plan. We would like
to let you know that we think you are making the most selfless decision
any human could possibly make; and we respect you so much for choosing
life for your child. This one selfless act tells us so much about you.
Whether you choose our family or not we want you to know we respect your
decision to bless a family with the most precious gift a person could
give; and we will continue to pray for you and your decision.
Jason and I
are the parents of two boys Elijah who is seven and Noah who turned four
in August. The boys are just as excited about the prospect of a new baby
as Jason and I are. We have always wanted another child even after Noah
was born and we have always thought adoption would be the best way for
us to bring another family member into our home. Jason and I were high
school sweet hearts; we met when we were thirteen and fourteen years old
at our youth group at church. Honestly it was not love at first sight
but after we got to know each other we fell in love and have loved each
other ever since. We got married when we were eighteen years old. Jason
and I waited to have children until we were twenty five. I think by us
waiting it made us better parents to our children because we got to know
who we were as individuals and as husband and wife. Jason joined the
military right out of high school so we have moved some during our
fourteen years of marriage but it has been wonderful. Our children love
the adventure that comes with this lifestyle.
Our family
enjoys outdoor activities such as four wheeling and horseback riding and
camping. My dad has a farm that we often use for these activities. All
four of us have a great love for animals; we have two dogs and two
horses. We look forward to sharing our passion for wild life with a new
baby.
I stepped
out of the work force when I became pregnant with Elijah. Jason and I
have been blessed that I am able to stay at home with our children.
Since I have been a stay at home mom I started college and I will
graduate March 2010 with my degree in Health care Administration. Since
we are adding a new addition to our family I will continue to stay home
until he or she starts school.
Jason and I
believe in supporting our children in whatever activity they chose. We
want them to be well rounded and full of confidence.
We would
like to let you know about the baby’s room; we decided to go with
neutral bedding since we do not know if we will receive a girl or boy.
We live in a four bedroom house so each child will have his or her own
room. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet, and we have a back yard were
the kids play along with our dogs.
Thank you
once again for considering us and we look forward to having a new family
member.
Sincerely,
Jason & Misty
