Prospective Adoptive Family Training Class Schedule
for Domestic Adoption Program

Attendance and completion of the six hour training class is required for all prospective adoptive families. To be eligible to attend a class the prospective family should first ...

a)   Complete and submit the pre-application with $100 pre-application fee.

b)   Upon receipt and review of the pre-application, the prospective family will be invited to a three hour orientation at the agency office during office hours Monday through Friday. The orientation will acquaint the family with agency policies and procedures. At this time families will receive all necessary information for the remainder of their adoption journey with Generations Adoptions.

c)   Upon completion of the orientation and payment of the orientation fee, families meeting eligibility requirements will be invited to attend the next scheduled adoption training class. Classes are from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday.

Orientations must be scheduled and completed at least two weeks prior to the adoption training class. Class sizes are limited and are offered several times a year. Interested families should apply well in advance of the scheduled 6 hour training class.
